Tuesday theme picture for #TuesDecay

I've always found abandoned buildings to be an attractive photo subject. I have no idea where and when I shot this 35mm slide. I suspect it was at Prince Edward Island in the early 1970s.

It's probably fallen over by now!

HC-1 Helicopter for #MilitaryMonday

The Kaman "Seasprite" UH-2 was used for Search and Rescue (SAR) aboard the USS BonHomme Richard (CVA-31).

I was an avionics technician assigned to HC-1 Det 3 out of Ream Field, Imperial Beach, CA. We deployed for Vietnam in 1970.

Sunday photo theme - #SkySunday

There are times I wished I lived out west where you can watch a storm from afar without having it rain on you.
In New Ipswich, NH the hills change the storms path so often they appear in our southern sky. This storm was unique because stars and later the moon was visible as it passed on. No rain on that day and the color was close to that weird purplish glow.

Daily photo theme for today is #SongbirdSaturday

One of my favorite songbirds is the Black-capped Chickadee (Poecile atricapillus). Although their "Chick-a-dee-dee-dee" is more of a scolding than singing when the feeder is empty.

Today's theme is #TuesDecay

End of the Road
I keep waiting to see a tree pop through the roof of this car I see everyday in my home town.

Gas was cheaper back in the day

Rust and paint

Wasps found a nice nesting place

Seems a bit expensive doesn't it?
