My sister does Zentangle artwork
Recently she branched out into three dimensions with this figure
She created this as a project in connection with a New Boston, NH artist in residence program.
The artist who leads the effort is Jon Brooks who has a number of works on display at the Currier Art Museum in Manchester, NH

The entire sculpture
I tried Zentangle but didn't have the patience to recreate the patterns by hand, I kept thinking of a photoshop shortcut

There are many time I wish I had a decent telephoto lens, this is one of those times
Port Alberni on Vancouver Island

WAY back into the archives for this this photo. Probably 1971
A visit to Hearst Castle in San Simeon, CA
The 35mm was scanned with ICE technology which unfortunately added some weird halo artifacts
I do NOT miss using film

Just follow the signs, it is well marked
Taken at Parker's Maple Barn in Mason, NH

Rusted farm equipment is always a great draw for me when I take photos

What on earth is Green Monday?

The second Monday in December, which is one of the most lucrative days for retail companies. Green Monday is a popular shopping day for last-minute holiday shoppers. The term was coined in 2007 by the website Shopping.com in reference to the website's highest sales day.
