First Day of Spring - 2015

Your Amazon purchases help support this blog, Thank You.

Tonight at 6:45 PM it will be Spring, in spite of the fact that it is 11 degrees F as I write this. Lots of astronomical stuff today, vernal equinox, super moon and a solar eclipse. I gathered some spring photos from previous years to celebrate the day.

Grape Hyacinth

Japanese Butterbur flower
weird isn't it?

New growth on climbing Hydrangea

By May these damn things arrive
I took the photo while she was feeding (ouch) but soon ended that misery

I think this is a type of snowdrop
I get more of these each year

Star Magnolia
Flowers arrive really early

Narcissus, an old standby for the garden

Hellebore, another early flower
