“The best traveler is one without a camera.”
I make an effort to have a camera nearby at all times because you just never know what life might throw at you and as my readers might have surmised, I like to freeze those moments of time.
This photo is not the photo not taken. This shot was taken on October 21, 2014. I chose it because it approximated the setting, time and location of the photo not taken.
This morning (Aug 8, 2016) we were taking our morning walk by the Smithville Reservoir in New Ipswich. We saw a Blue Heron wing its way over the still water. Along the trail a pair flew by us close to the water, their reflections could be seen. It was a beautiful sight. I had my point and shoot camera but the entire sequence happened spontaneously and I was ill prepared.
In my minds eye I see the pair gliding over the water, for now that is enough.
